A Sequel To Rune?

Okay. It's recently come to my attention that there's a new Facebook Page for Rune. This is what it says....

About

Official Facebook Page of the cult hit classic Rune!

Description

In RUNE, players assume the role of Ragnar the Viking, mightiest warrior of a bygone age. In an age when might makes right, it is Ragnar who doles out justice on the blade of his massive battle-axe. Players will explore beautiful settings both above and below the mountains of the far north as Ragnar fights his way through several stunning and unique kingdoms to an ultimate confrontation with the Sark Amen, the shadowy warrior-masters of the netherworld. Players will have to use their brains as well as their masshttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifive brawn to survive this third-person perspective game as they explore the fully 3D game world fighting off fantastic creatures from both Norse legend and the fertile minds of the Human Head staff with their array of swords, axes and magical devices.

They then make the statement:

"We are considering a sequel to the cult hit classic Rune!"

Personally, I'm going to reserve judgement on this statement, because it doesn't really tell us anything yet. Will there be a sequel to Rune? Maybe, yes. Maybe, no. We'll see. This might just be an epic tease. But I will say that I'm curious about what Human Head is up to, and I do hope we get a sequel...

P.S. Here's the link to the Facebook group:

What is "miles per hour"? Watch this video for a serious case of the lulz!

Some Changes...

As we all can see, the site is undergoing some updates and changes. Some links have been added and updated, and we have a new forum that is under construction. More info to come soon....

Runegame Website Update

Ok, guys. Some potential news. This is a post copied verbatim from dirty~Bob on the dirty clan website...

From Laurie:

I just got word the RuneGame.com website server developed a significant coding issue/bug for 2K techs to fix right now due to it's great age. Why it has been down for so long.

In the meantime, Human Head has decided to create a new website for the Rune Game Community under a new name: "Rune-World.com". For now, only a "Head" page is showing but forums and more pages will appear shortly. You can find the holding page here: http://rune-world.com/

I'll send more info as soon as possible.

Perverse Sheep Humor

What? Don't look at me like that. I didn't create the video.

Steam Has A Rune Group. Who Knew?

I hope you precious readers can forgive me. When it comes to certain technical matters, I'm completely retarded. Until last night, I didn't even know that there was a Rune group on Steam. Hell, I would not even have a Steam account (which I rarely use) if my kid brother hadn't set it up for me. So, yeah. There it is, and now you know. The group is called:

Steam Group
RUNE HOV (RUNE HOV)

Rune Multiplayer Gameplay

Here's another Rune video posted onto youtube. It's an entertaining video, but I wish it was a little brighter, and a little less grainy. Still cool though. :)

Runegame Is STILL Down!

I cannot believe that the runegame site is still down. This has gone on for a looooong time. This bothers me. That site was intended to be the central hub of the game. Instead, the Rune community is totally decentralized, and scattered all over the place. We live in strange days, fellow Rune warriors...

The Lamb Speaks

As an experiment, I made a webcomic tonight. It's posted over on Facebook. Normally, I'd post it here, but I can't figure out how to adjust the size, and prevent it from covering the web links on the right side of the screen. Oh, well...

Superman vs Hulk - The Fight (Part 1)

Someone created an interesting animation of Hulk and Superman duking it out. It's not bad..
