Legend of the Frozen Empire - Rune Coop mod (update)
Here we go again! Hi guys! Voy and Min Ys are looking for map designers for LOTFE! We would like to release a map pack for Legend Of The Frozen Empire in collaboration with the community.
Rules: -Each of the guest mappers can build up to 3 maps
-It is allowed to use the textures of the original game and LOTFE but
it is not allowed to modify them (because of chances of mismatch) and
using your own textures
-We are expecting maps that are built nicely without bugs if possible
-Maps that have poor environments and/or have too many bugs will not be added
-Do not use new packs and do not import anything into mylevel pack besides the screenshot of the map
-Voy can modify maps anytime
-Deadline TBD
If you would like to participate please send a mail to vajvoy@yahoo.com
Regards Voy & Min Ys

LOTFE
Legend of The Frozen Empire
The day has come, it's 01.09.2014!
As we promised we will release LOTFE on this day, which came true!
~~What is LOTFE?
Voy started the project originally, it was a small coop back in time. I (S.Boss) made a singleplayer mod years ago, but I stopped editing it( bugs, crashes, missing files... ). While playing Rune on a server, I met Voy who showed me his coop. I also showed him my unfinished singleplayer, or at least what remained from it... There were some correctly working maps, so I told Voy, I give them to him. I helped him with things like triggers or some fixes, later I decided to fix my SP maps to make them appropriate coop maps. Next, I joined him to finish the coop, I started editing totally new maps with Voy. Now, here we are with 40 coop maps ready to play for the Rune community, have fun!
Download: Moddb.com
~~Features:
- 40 Coop maps

- Further details are included in the ReadMe files!

RetroGOAT: Rune 1.0
Wizard takes a look at an old multiplayer favourite of his.
Rune is a hack 'n' slash melee action game developed by Humanhead Studios and released in 2001. It was very unique for its time and has since its release had a good multiplayer community. In 2012 it was re-released on Steam where it is now sold for €9.99. Games with similar fighting-systems include the Star Wars: Jedi Outcast series and Severance: Blade of Darkness.
The multiplayer community in Rune is divided between the classic Rune 1.0 and Rune: Halls of Valhalla, which was the stand-alone multiplayer version of the game. There are several differences between the gameplay of the multiplayer-modes in these games which have caused some to favour one over the other while some play both.
UPDATE: Rune has been re-released on GOG.com for the generous price of $4.99! Check it out at http://www.gog.com/game/rune_classic

I'm updating this blog.
The truth is...the layout of the old blog looked like shit. It was boring me to tears, and I think that's why I stayed away from the site for so long. In fact, I think I avoided taking real risks with this blog...and so I gave a pretty conservative approach to the content and layout of this site.
I've changed things around a little bit, and will be experimenting with the layout some more, so don't be surprised if you see more changes in the near future.
