Dad's Back!
Well, I wasn't discussing it, but my father had pneumonia, and had to be taken to the hospital via ambulance last week. Thankfully, he's back home again, so we're both happy about that. Unfortunately, I'm feeling sick myself, so we're both in recovery mode right now. But hey, he'll get better, and so will I. Life goes on...

You win, motherfuckers.
Well, it looks like the spammers have struck again, and barred me from my own website. You little bitches wanted to spam my forums into oblivion? Well, guess what? Mission accomplished.
I was going to retire the forums, and keep them only for archival purposes. But now? Forget that shit. It's a waste of time. I don't normally use expletives on this site, but I really am irritated, as the reasons why limp-dicked morons do this crap is beyond my ability to comprehend.
This is what it said when I attempted to log into lambshack.org:
"You have been permanently banned from this board.
Please contact the Board Administrator for more information.
Reason given for ban: Spammer IP Block
A ban has been issued on your IP address."
Lovely. I've been banned from my own website. Oh, well. I guess I'll just chock this one up as a loss, and be happy that Facebook and Blogger provide me with everything I need. Enjoy your victory, spammers....but remember, it doesn't make you any less of a dick.

Zaphirs still alive and kicking?
Ok, so I received a message from Skiboosh, also known as Wolfex, or also known as Zaphirs_Howl. He was searching for a link to his Rune clan on Lambshack, and oddly enough, it wasn't here! I'm actually embarrassed that I missed that. So we have resolved this issue, and you can find a link to the Zaphirs site here:

Italian Warriors
So if you've been playing Rune lately, you may have noticed the heavy activity on the Italian Warrior server. It's very glitchy, but it's always listed as being populated, so players tend to visit it before any other server out there. Players have the option of voting for the maps they wish to play on. I like that. It's a fun server, but it's kinda laggy there... :(
Also, you may have noticed a player engaged in "wall-hacking" or "dodge-hacking" or whatever it is. He moves at super-speed, and he's being a real nuisance, as he's also always fakenicking. zaza is the admin there, so if you can provide him with ideas for combating this, please let him know. Or just visit the Italian Warriors forum to leave them a message. More later. See you soon, guys! :)

The tournament is over. We have a winner!
Here is a statement posted by Frozn on Lambshack about the results of the tournament...
"Let me begin by thanking the entire Rune community for coming together to make this tournament the resounding success that it was, without your interest it would have never been possible. I'm proud to have been a part of a tournament that will be talked about for years to come.
Bringer of Pain won by a single frag in one of the longest and most intense battles that I've ever witnessed. I've been bad about making videos from my demorecs but I *WILL* convert this one as soon as possible."
Results:
European Match
Zyroloth: 15 Bringer of Pain: 6
SShot:
U.S. Match
Bringer of Pain: 15 Zyroloth: 5
SShot:
"In the beginning when I wrote the FAQ I said there would be no prizes given out. Well, I'm left with a veterans blood europe server that will be open for all to enjoy for the foreseeable future. Zyroloth, having won against a large crowd of very tough European players deserves the admin pass there. Bringer, having organized the tournament, already knows it. It's the least I can do for the EU side whose sportsmanship I greatly underestimated.
Bringer and I, having organized the tournament together, were given especially tough fights so that favoritism would not be suspected, and yet he rose through the ranks and earned a solid victory over every rune player that stood in his way. And although he comes out the winner and world champion, Zyroloth still has the right to be called the current European champion. Fights across oceans can never be as fair as we wish they could.
But regardless of who won and who was defeated, everyone who showed up and enjoyed their match deserves credit here, and I thank you all for making this possible. The strength of the Rune community 12 years later, as demonstrated by these massive turnouts, assures me that Rune will be alive and well for many more years."
